Lily Lake – Albion Little River Road – Little River,
California.
Gorgeous 13 acre lake and meadow property
located approximately 3 miles inland from Hwy 1
in the sun belt, 5 minutes from the Little River
Airport and 10 minutes from the town of
Mendocino.
3 beautiful event sites, all with power and water,
surround the lily filled 4 acre lake. The lake is
perfectly ecologically balanced lake teaming
with birds, water lilies, and fish and fed by the
adjoining wetlands. The lake is surrounded by
grass meadows, towering firs and redwoods, and
wild rhododendrons. Enjoy a glass of wine by a
fire next to the lake at dusk and enjoy the
magnificent sunsets. Site 1 is on the house side of
the lake looking east across the lake. Site 2 is an
open plain at the north end of the lake near the
barn and site 3 is on the east side of the lake
across from site 1.
The 1,600 square foot main house and attached
greenhouse are two different environments. The
living room with fireplace and bath and kitchen
are redwood craftsman architecture with 25’
high ceiling, redwood sinker log floors and in-
floor radiant heating. A bedroom and office or
supplemental sleeping area is on the upper loft
with another fireplace. The kitchen includes all
marble counter tops with sub-zero refrigerator,
Viking gas rang, Bosch dishwasher. The bath
includes marble counter top and shower with
new Bosch washer and dryer.
The greenhouse is a light filled translucent 25’
high dining/entertaining/sleeping room. Two
massive translucent swinging doors open out at
the end of the greenhouse to a garden of
Japanese maples, rhododendrons, azaleas and
camellias. The house sleeps four with the
possibility to add accommodations for an
additional two people on the upper loft plus two
people in the greenhouse for a maximum total of
eight in the house/greenhouse.
The second building is the new 1,600 square foot
steel barn and quest quarters designed by
architect John Pflueger. The 20’ x 50’ main floor
is multi-purpose with a bath and can be used for
entertaining and or sleeping. There is a 200
square foot sleeping loft for two at one end and
another 400 square foot sleeping/office/library
at the other end, that opens to a deck
overlooking the lake and can sleep two. In
addition to the lofts, sleeping accommodations
can be expanded to the main level for an
additional four people for a total of eight
people. Sleeping accommodations in both
buildings combined: minimum six, maximum sixteen.
There are also beautiful campsites for kids in the
meadows by the lake.
A new water system has been installed as well as
a septic system for the barn, a Wild Blue Satellite
internet and Dish TV.
